Christmas List

Excerpt of pathetic conversation in our household the other day:

"So how would you prioritize the things we desperately need but cannot afford: the new mattress first, or the larger dining room table?"

Um, does it really matter?

Jeez. What kinda cheapskate would even ask that question?

Well, having slept in your bed AND dined at your table, I'd say definitely the new mattress first! (You can always eat a few feet away in the living room when you have too many guests for *everyone* to be at the table; no big deal. And you *do* have enough dining space for your own family at *this* juncture.)

Trust me....the bed, the bed!! (Not to sound ungrateful after you gave up your bed for us and all....)

Having never slept in your bed (or seen your dining table), I agree with Heidi. Finding a cheap but sturdy table is easier to find than buying a cheap but comfortable mattress. Not to mention better for one's mental and physical health.

You guys crack me up. I never knew other people felt so strongly about our bed. ;)
