Gratitude Friday: Moving On

Last night I rounded up a bunch of old two-handled, soft-spout baby sippy cups and their slippery lid-valves from our kitchen cabinet, to put in the give-away bag. We are done with small-baby sippy cups. You may or may not be surprised to hear me say this, given my past ambivalence about being done having babies, but today I am grateful to be giving away the baby sippys. Don't you hate how the valves mysteriously get lost in the dishwasher? Annoying.

What are you grateful for today?

Today, I'm grateful for a calm, productive day at work; for the entertainment provided by the families on campus for commencement; for two girls in a good mood; for a delicious dinner; for a nice evening rain; and for the ability to run in the Arb again.

I'm grateful for:
My new job
New friends
Old friends
Healthy kids
Sunshine
Tide detergent - it smells so good!
Coffee
Sun tea

Be careful - getting rid of baby things almost always guarantees another baby!! I've seen it happen too many times.

Ha! Mnmom, you're not kidding. A mom I know is currently expecting her third....TOTALLY unplanned (in fact, planned AGAINST), and after doing away with a whole bunch of baby stuff. Seriously, I would have a heart attack on the spot.
