9 p.m. The Night Before Thanksgiving

Is everybody happy now? In between writing three freelance articles for, reading a book by the friend-of-a-friend NYC literary agent before having a phone consultation with her in a few days, and preparing part of a book proposal, I made stuffing. It's in my fridge right now, and it has pecans and dried cherry-flavored cranberries (what the what?) in it. I tried to take a picture of it for you, but my camera batteries died and I don't have any replacements.

But HOLY SODIUM! I think the recipe should have directed me to use plain water rather than chicken broth. See?--I told you I'm no good with any recipe that involves a dead bird. (That includes chicken broth.)
