Easy to Please

Last night for dinner I made homemade pizza with a whole-wheat, from-scratch crust, and a salad created with pre-washed bagged greens from the supermarket. I may have thrown some frozen peas on Genevieve's plate as well. The girls ate their pizza and then Genevieve said, "This is the BEST DINNER EVER, Mama. You make the BEST DINNERS. Your dinners are better than ALL the other moms' dinners."

Lucky (me).

I would like to say, for the record, that my children have NEVER said something like that to me.

My poor kids.

And husband.

I really wish I could cook like that. Lucky YOU indeed.

Rita-- I'll give you my recipes for frozen peas and bagged salad. ;) (just kidding.)

JEALOUS!! (again) Dave made a pizza from scratch the other night. The boys each took one bite, then refused to eat any more. Gracie ate it, but admitted she liked frozen better. And the only ones to eat fruit/veg were Dave, me and Liam. Sad. Do you lend your kids out for 'how to graciously eat the healthy homemade food your parents make you' lessons??

@Angel (I know it's you)--No, but if it makes you feel any better, Genevieve won't eat carrots if they're cooked, squash, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes (usually), or cauliflower.

Haha! I hate when I do that! (So does Dave) :)

Yep, I feel a little better now. ;)
